Children’s workers get ready! Not only are you going to be blessed at the Stirred Up Children’s Ministries Retreat, you will have the opportunity to be a blessing! At the Saturday Night Party we are going to “Bless a Buddy” with the orphan-ministry friends from International Children’s Care. There is a children’s village in war-torn D.R. Congo in Africa with 150 orphaned children who NEED YOU! It is people like you who do simple acts of kindness that give these children life and hope. Saturday night, for our service project, you will receive a picture of a child to pray for and make a customized care package that will be sent to ‘your buddy’ in the D.R. Congo. Before your package is sealed, you will pray a special blessing upon your buddy, by name. They will receive your special package. Made with loving care by you and signed with a blessing message from you. THANK YOU for blessing buddies in your community and around the world!
